If you don't know, after this post you will.....................we love this couple. This couple set the bar high for the most affectionate wedding to date! Jim and Amber were married on August 10th at Jim's father's cabin in Longville, MN. We had already captured their engagement session earlier in the year and immediately fell in love with both their personalities and how they looked as a couple. When we arrived in the morning, Amber was beaming from ear to ear to get the day started. Her Groom on the other hand, decided it was best to play a prank. Amber had called 3 days before the big day saying Jim had opted out of the First Look. We assured her the day would still be great. When we approached Jim, he was was wearing khaki shorts and a casual polo shirt. "This is it, this is what I'm wearing." he replied. Of course we figured out he was bluffing and that he had something up his sleeve. Jim is a Bemidji firefighter and wanted to surprise his bride at the alter with his blue uniform.
How our Bride and Groom met:
"We met at Home Depot. We started working together and we noticed a little spark, which over time grew to a flame we couldn’t ignore. We became friends and then more. We have had our ups and downs, turns and twists but our love has lead us through. Jim and I went out one night and it was the night of our first kiss. We were under the stars and moon when he leaned up romantically against me on my car. That was the moment I was like “ oh god he’s the one” or the night he laid in my lap and sang Travis Tritt songs to me, or the first time I saw him and we locked eyes.........."
Jim and Amber..............THANK YOU so much for this day. Your wedding was beautiful, fun, intimate and of course filled with a lot of laughter. It is beyond easy to see the love you have for each other. We wish you both a long and happy marriage!! Oh and Jim...........thanks for hanging out in the veil!!
