To say we had fun capturing Sian and Dylan's wedding would be a huge understatement. This couple set the bar high for the most exciting wedding to date! On the morning of July 6th, 2019, we arrived in a very foggy Thief River Falls. We discovered later, a wildfire was burning in Ontario and the smoke left a haze over northern Minnesota. Sian and her bridesmaids were getting ready when we met up with them. Sian's smile is nothing short of amazing and she was calm, cool and collected. The bridal colors she chose were playful and really added to the racing theme they wanted.

How our Bride and Groom met:

"We first met at the Greenbush Race Park in 2007. We dated for a month and then Sian went to Colorado for a week for youth group and once she got back, that was the end of that! However, Dylan’s senior year, Sian would go and watch his football games without him knowing! Finally, January of 2013 Dylan was trying his hardest to hang out with Sian. But Sian played really hard to get because she knew once she saw him it was game over! Dylan was very persistent for 3 months and they finally met up at the Jason Aldean concert on March 23, 2013 and it’s been game over since!"

The Proposal:

"We were camping at Florian for my oldest daughter’s 7th Birthday. We had just got done opening presents, they were getting the cake ready to cut and eat as I was folding up Adrian’s clothes she had received as gifts and packing it all up. Then Adrian walked up behind me and said “Mommy” and as I turned around, she was standing there with a cupcake and a ring on top of it, Dylan proceeded to get down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I didn’t believe it, I just kept asking if he was being for real! I did not see it coming. I didn’t even know that Dylan had a ring, however we had talked about it many times within the last 2 years before he finally proposed. I didn’t believe it, I still don’t know how he pulled it off! I was in shock for quite some time."

What they love about each other:

Sian - "One thing I love most about Dylan is how he has always treated my oldest daughter as his own since day 1 and he’s such a hard worker."

Dylan - "One thing I love most about Sian is the way she cares about everything."

We could not end this blog without talking about Sian's dress........... Her husband is a Motocross Racer so it was only fitting she be taken to the reception on the back of his bike. The best man brought Dylan's bike, which was really awesome but...........popping wheelies and wedding dress trains do not go hand in hand. Sian's dress took a beating to say the least but you would have never known as it held up extremely well!

We absolutely love this couple and can't thank them enough for allowing us the honor and privilege of capturing their big day. We wish their beautiful family a life of laughter, love and fantastic racing moments!!
