Catrina and Troy planned a very sweet, intimate wedding at a beautiful park in Grand Rapids, MN. We met Catrina at the park and we could tell she was a little anxious. She said their power had been out for a couple of hours while they were trying to get ready. Rainy weather was in the forecast on June 23rd but it was cool with a slight breeze.

How our Bride and Groom met:

"Troy said we met when I was in middle school but I don't remember. I remember actually meeting him a few months after we started dating! We met at American Inn and spent a few nights there, which were the funnest nights I had in a while. I did know of him because in middle school he dated my cousin. Also his cousin lives up here whom I knew. When I went for him it was complete opposite of what I usually went for. He was so funny right off the start and I've also never laughed so much with someone. I knew he was the one when both my kids warmed up to him immediately! They love him and he is amazing with them.

The Proposal:

"I knew it was coming, I just did not expect it at the moment it did! My mom was leading me to the front garden through a side gate to replant some flowers. She wouldn't let me chase my kids to get them to come with me, which was weird but okay I keep going. I open the gate and he's down on one knee with flowers!"

We can't thank Catrina & Troy enough for the honor and privilege of allowing us to capture their beautiful wedding day. We wish this beautiful couple a lifetime of happiness, laughter, love and many blessings. Congratulations!!!
